Summer 2025

Artist in Residence at Sealaska Heritage Institute

Juneau, AK

While back in Alaska for the summer, I was able to spend three weeks in Juneau for a residency at SHI. There, SHI really uplifted my career and provided a lot of visibility and opportunity. One of the highlights of my time there was teaching a multi-day workshop on Inuit Drum Making.

The residency was located in the amazing Walter Soboleff Building in downtown Juneau. This studio was accessible to so many tourists and locals alike, and met so many great people with incredible conversations. If you are an Alaska Native Artist and looking for an opportunity, this is a great program.

Dogidihn to everyone for making the residency such a great experience!

‘Ghosts of the Radiant’

MFA 26 Cohort Group Show

Alfred, NY

At the end of my first year in graduate school, my cohort and I collaborated on a group show at the Village of Alfred’s Town Hall. The work shown was a culmination of experimentation from all five of us.

I am honored to be included in such an amazing cohort here at Alfred!
